Image result for youthParticipation of the youth in kingdom service has vital advantages and creates various avenue which helps in:
1.    character formation
2.     practical training for them as members, which helps them to understand the doctrine of faith
3.    preparation for leadership role
4.    Enhancing  their sense of responsibility and obligation
5.    understanding the actual practice of the gospel truths
6.    Create an avenue for their abilities

Sadly to note that the above mention is missing due to:
1.    Lack of vision on the part of the young people
2.    Lack of the older persons to dream dreams in seeing the worth of the young ones
3.    Failure to engage the youth in deliberate and significant kingdom service by the church.

We as leaders didn’t know what we possess as to the grace of God until we were given the opportunity; this is the missing factor in the present day church. Not everything that is youthful is sinful.

WHAT YOUTH NEEDS TO BE ACTIVE IN KINGDOM SERVICE
1.    Sense of mission and purpose (Need for action)
2.    Sense of belonging (Need to participate)
3.    Kingdom Service Training (Need to Practice)
4.    Kingdom service accomplishment (Need to produce)
5.    Leadership Commendation (Need praise)
6.    Spiritual Motivation (Need for spirituality)                      

According to Robert A. Crandall “The church’s greatest resource of reproduction is through the winning and discipline of her own youth. these may at times lack motivation. however, the potential is there” Happy is the church that provides its youth the opportunity to serve Jesus Christ…                      

The assimilation of the youth in to the church duties, activities and responsibility helps to infuse enthusiasm into them and the passion to impress the older ones of their ability to surprise the church makes them want to go extra mile.                      

WHAT INTERESTS THE YOUTH IN THE CHURCH
1.    Encounters: The touch of the Lord
2.    Exposures: Information that transforms.
3.    Exploration: new discoveries about hidden gifts within them
4.    Encouragement: Support and assistance from older persons
5.    Empowerment: availability to resources to achieve their abilities
6.    Expression: Grace to showcase  themselves
7.    Environment: Enabled environment, where they are celebrated
