As a pastor or church leader, it can be difficult to stay connected with the divine and lead your congregation towards spiritual growth. Thankfully, there are numerous resources and aids available to help you do just that! Here we’ve compiled ten of them:
1. Prayer (Luke 4:1–11; 5:16)
2. The Bible (Matthew 26:54, 56; Mark 14:27; Luke 22:36–37; John 19:24, 28)
3. The Holy Spirit and gifts of the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12: 7-11; Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38; Isaiah. 11:1–2)

1. Pray regularly for God’s guidance.
2. Read the Bible daily, looking for principles that apply to your leadership role.
3. Attend a regular minister’s training summits and be involved.
4. Develop close relationships with other Christians who can provide support and encouragement.
5. Make time each day for personal reflection and meditation on Scripture passages or Christian writings that inspire you.
6. Join or participate in a small group or study circle where you can share your ministry journey with others and also learn from them
7. Be active in serving the needs of others, both inside and outside your church community
8 . Look for opportunities to witness to your faith through your words and actions
9 . Nurture your own spiritual growth by attending retreats, conferences, or workshops
10 . Pray continually for strength, wisdom, and grace as you lead others in following Christ As a church leader, you have a lot of responsibility on your shoulders.
Accessing the powers of these ministry aids and how to deploy them wisely:
1. Pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit.
2. Ask God to show you WHAT He wants you to do.
3. Ask God to show you HOW He wants you to use them.
3. Seek counsel from other godly people who can give you advice and help hold you accountable.
4. Read Scripture, specifically seeking out passages that address your current situation or challenge
5. Study biographies of great Christians throughout history to learn how they faced similar trials
6. Spend time alone with God in prayer and meditation, listening for His voice
7. Fast, either giving up all food or some particular favorite foods as a sign of humility before Almighty God
8. Give generously of your time, money, talents, and energy to meet the needs of others both inside and outside the church
9. Confess your sins humbly and honestly to God on a regular basis.
10. Rejoice always! appreciating God for what God has blessed you with.
11. Read books on leadership so that you can learn new techniques and strategies.
12. Find a mentor who can help guide and encourage you in your journey as a leader of the church body.
13. Surround yourself with people who will support and pray for you as you fulfill your calling as a spiritual leader
