The Son of Hachaliah was a man that
had the interest of his nation at heart; he was concerned about the occupants
of his city and did not show a blind sight to the happenings of his father’s
land. Things had gone from bad to worse, men were in captivity, the young ones
in great affliction and the women of his homeland were in great reproach. He
became distressed after the news of what had become of his people, neither did
he celebrate nor riot at the deteriorating state of his homeland but saw the
need for that one missing part of the puzzle – The Revival Leader.
Realizing the traumatic state of his country, he sat down and wept, mourned, fasted and
prayed before God, bearing the pressure and speaking about it. The comfort of
his people brought a zeal burning inside of him and when the opportunity
presented itself he got hold of it with his two hands, because he knew that if
he did not arise to the call of rescue, many will suffer and multitude would
perish. He stood up and never looked back until his purpose was fulfilled, yes!
Despite all challenges Nehemiah never looked back. Chapters 1 – 7 of the book
of Nehemiah spoke of the kind of man God is willing to empower and enable for
the rescue of millions and that person is YOU.
a revival leader, the people will fall into sin and error. The lack of a true
revival leader has contributed to the high level of atrocities being committed
in the world and even in the church today. Reading the book of Judges 2:10-13;
17: 6; 21:25 shows how it was easy for the house of Israel to fall and wallow
in inequity due to lack of a true revival leader. Therefore, there is a great
need in the church of Christ today for a Revival Leader who will build and
teach the church which conforms to the standard of God’s word. Matt. 28:19-20
“…teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” it
is therefore germane to identify the major factors that will make a revival
leader out of you.
THAT WILL MAKE A REVIVAL LEADER OUT OF YOU
This is a place of God
and You Alone; if God can’t have you he can’t use you(Prov. 23:26)
The word of God is what
should form the basis of your vision and mission (Deu 11:18).
Without God you are
not, without Him you cannot and without Him you will not (Jh 15:5).
Prayer assists in the
provision of encouragement, boldness and strength to forge ahead even when
there seems to be no way forward.
Holiness and brokenness
are two indefatigable spiritual arsenals that must never fail.
Guard your heart
jealously, by fighting against spiritual defilement else the entire ministry is
put at risk. Your life and ministry depends on your spiritual healthiness.
Every vision has a time
frame, be on time. Never be a tenant in the graveyard of procrastination.
If you appear before
your time of introduction, you will disappear before your time of
manifestation.
When ones timing is
wrong, everything else goes wrong, for when
time is against a man he lands in frustration

ministry is based on how much attention you pay to yourself. Not forgetting

your health is your responsibility (II Kings 13:21)
Your home is a
prototype of your exploits in your service for God, therefore your first rescues, followers and congregation is your household.
No revival leader can
succeed or excel with a turbulent marriage, ignoring the error signals in your
marriage might cost you more than you can afford, therefore take heed.
Your spouse tells us
more about who you really are. What does your spouse call you? Give attention
to your spouse, he/she is your heritage and a help in time of need.
Revival leadership is
not cheap talk but hard work. There is no substitution to hard work; it is a
major price to pay if vision and ministry fulfillment are to be obtained.
The price of patience
and persistence is an irrefutable price of leadership. There will be rejection
and criticism, but one must be able to handle such forces in the pursuit of
vision.
Discipline, confidence,
courage, unselfishness and integrity are traits of true leadership that will be
demanded from us in order to achieve the mission pursuit.
The anointing, like a
fuel helps to move ones vision and ministry to fulfillment (Act 4:33).

maturity.

life and everyone attached to you (Gen 6:18).

and Kingdom investment (1King 3:4-13)
The secret of His
covenant is based on the depth of your fear for Him (Ps 25:14)
Great vision finds it

management skill will be tested by God before He can unlock His kingdom
warehouse to you. You must be prudent

You are a failure the
day the ‘You’ inside of you gives up on YOU
Hmm…, the wow factor
to your divine mission and vision is YOU!
It is important for you to mind whose
work you copy and pattern your life after. Be careful with what you feed your
soul with and evaluate the person you follow.
Your character and attitude evaluation
and adjustment is crucial. According to Billy Graham “when wealth is lost,
nothing is lost, when health is lost, something is lost but when character is
lost, all is lost”
Ensure that regular retreat is a major
item on your itinerary. Don’t be too
busy to refuel, else you run out of strength when you are mostly needed.
The Lord will only commit great things
into the hands of him that is sincerely in love with him. “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee.
He saith unto him, Feed my lambs”.
John 21:15
