REQUIREMENTS FOR RAISING COMMITTED WORKER

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

There are requirements needed as
a leader to raise your own workers. These requirements can be classified in two,
which a balanced leader must possess.
a.  Strength to Raise People
This can
also be seen as an enduring capability to patiently raise men from a spiritual,
physical and social infancy to a stage of strength. It involves raising babes
in the faith, shepherding, training, nursing and nurturing them till they
become men like you. It is making men out of our own daily living, which involves
showing them how to grow; making disciples out of ordinary men. It takes grace,
time, endurance, patience, understanding and a large heart. A man called in
pastoral office will naturally operate in the class. These strengths are what
you develop and grow to be; they are internally generated over time. Your
ministry experience with the Lord, personal encounters with the Lord and inner
strength accumulation helps to form your ministry strength to handle people.
They are what you are naturally in the faith which others can build themselves
on.

It is not just raising men that is crucial but
also the ability to lead them after they are matured. The strength helps you to
raise godly and zealous but the skill helps you to keep them in focus. It
simply means the ability to lead the ready-made people else they might outgrow our
leadership and become rebellious, proud, arrogant and stubborn II Tim 4:9-10 “
Do
thy diligence to come shortly unto me: For
Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world
, and is departed
unto Thessalonica…

Many true builders have truly labored but their prodigies have out grown their
leadership. Therefore, the skill to lead them further is imperative and
germane.
