CHURCH CONFLICT: PRE-CAUTION AGAINST CONFLICTS & CRISES

God is not an author of confusion, therefore, the most organised, disciplined, conflict-free and well orderly people on earth should be the christian. Prof. Oyesiku (2003) stated that “Order is the first law in heaven”, one of the early cases of conflict and crises occurred in heaven, when lucifer and his fallen angels rebelled against God. if conflict and crises was seen in heaven, then expect one. Never say never, we just need to avoid it and reduce it to its minimal level
Kindly note, that most crises that occurs is often as a result of the failure on our part to distinguish and strike a balance between Spiritual Needs and Physical Needs. At times we are so focused on the spiritual needs alone and we ignore or pay little attention on the physical well being of our members, thereby fueling contention, dis-satisfaction and murmuring.

PRE-CAUTION AGAINST CONFLICTS
1. we must be pro-active towards the needy
2. proper regulating and monitoring of the teaching delivered and excesses from our various branches of our churches.
3. Effective Public relation officer must be in place
4. Formal training of bodies (disciplinary committees, Church Board Council or the pastorate)  saddle with conflict resolution for the task given to them
5. Upholding the Bible Doctrines and Church Doctrines (Most members don’t even know what Church Doctrine and Biblical Doctrines Are)
6. Proper Accounting and Book keeping system
7. effective prayer system must be put in place, along with dynamic biblical training structure
7. Proper Management and documentation of Church properties and assets
8. Periodic training and re-training for the church Administrative board/Team in church managerial skills
9. pre-requisite for choosing the church leadership must be thorough and strictly Biblical. choose by heart not by cash donation.
10. Engaging the services of a legal practitioner to properly interpret all statement and documents the has any form of legal implications will be an added value.
11. Avoid the use of force in the collection of money from members. Giving must be encouraged and not forcefully nor excessive else they’ll start murmuring and complain.
12. it is advisable that the church can engage in financial yielding investments like building of Events Centre, Christian Bookshop e.t.c to help alleviate the financial burden of the church
13. Train, spend and nurture the youth church to understand and digest the biblical doctrines and tenents. the youth must not be allow to be idle nor see the adult departments as threats else they become rebellious and conflict can emanate from there.
14. effective church and leadership communication must be imbibed into the church relational system
15. Learn from other people’s mistakes, read will and wide, you lead well when you read well.
