DROPPING OUT OF THE SCHOOL OF ERROR

HOW TO RESIGN OR DISQUALIFY
YOURSELF FROM THE SCHOOL OF ERROR.
1.     Evaluate your own life, ponder on instances you’ve made mistakes and amend through genuine repentance. (II Co 13:5)  “Examine yourselves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves”
2.     Evaluate the patterns of your mistakes and make corrections accordingly and prayerfully
3.     Surrender absolutely to the leading of the Holy Spirit and lean not on your own understanding(Proverbs 3:5)  “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
4.     Put in place necessary checks and balances along the way such as Accountability Relationship (AR). Submitting oneself to matured leader who helps in guiding you.
5.     Gather wisdom by learning from the mistakes of those around you. It is better to learn from the mistakes of others
6.     Form the habit of reading Christian biographies and good secular biographies as this will help you to be wise, successful and disciplined
7.     Study biblical characters, note their errors, mistakes, pitfalls and understudy how to escape such errors
8.      Develop a meekness heart. Don’t react negatively when you are been corrected. Meekness has to do with the ability to receive, accept and effect corrections. (Psalms 25:9)
9.     Cherish every avenue to learn. What you become in the future depends majorly on your ability to learn.
10.                Meditate and digest the word of the Lord to illuminate your heart(Pro 4:23)  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Engage the forces of fervent prayer to break the operation of the devil.
TRUTHS TO DIGEST AND UNDERSTAND
a.     All mistakes written in the bible is there for us to learn from and that we’ll not repeat such mistakes (Rom 15:4)
b.     History repeats itself because men refuse to learn from it
c.      Nothing sells your destiny cheap like indiscipline
d.     Every error has a hidden message in it for us to learn from.
e.     Learning from ones mistake turns you into a great achiever
f.       The point you stop learning from yours and other peoples’ mistakes, you’ll start falling into the deep pitfall of tragedies.
g.     There is no excuse for remaining a candidate in the school of error
h.     Making a mistake is not a crime but failing to learn and wallowing in your mistakes or error is a capital offence in the court of heaven.
i.        Eliminate fear as fear is a major enemy to progress and change (II Tim 1:7).
